The Army Corps of Engineers currently owns more than 11.7 million acres of land, land that includes campsites, lakes, trails, and other recreational areas. While gun owners are allowed to legally carry their firearms in and through other public lands, like  national parks, the Army Corps of Engineers has stopped them from doing so in land they control.

This bill would prohibit the Corps from doing so and require that they respect and uphold the fundamental rights of Americans to keep and bear arms on their public lands.

Limiting the Second Amendment on almost 12 million acres of publicly accessible land is unconscionable.

There are several measures that address this issue currently in Congress.
