Gun free zones have proven to be ineffective and extremely dangerous for law-abiding citizens, and this is especially true of our schools. They provide mediums for criminals and psychotic individuals to commit horrid crimes without facing retaliation.

While a mere law cannot prevent a criminal from committing these acts of violence, a good person with a gun obviously can. Our police officers cannot always respond in a sufficient amount of time, and we cannot leave our youth defenseless. Therefore, for the safety of our children, we must allow teachers, parents, and other trained staff to carry concealed firearms.
