CA AB 3199 is a "gutted and amended" bill that prohibits firearms as raffle prizes by charitable organizations. 

This would have many effects but it would most notably prevent some organizations from raising sufficient funds to benefit their communities. 

AB 3199 is totally disregards the fact that a firearm won through a raffle still requires a background check, safety certificate, safe handling demonstration, waiting period, and transfer through a licensed dealer. 

This bill is absolutely ridiculous and must be stopped.
