HF 9 would allow law enforcement and family members to petition a court to have your guns taken away without due process of law.
These gun seizures would be permitted by enacting so-called “Red Flag” laws in the state of Minnesota. This system would be easy to abuse, and would likely lead to fraudulent reporting and subsequent gun confiscation from law-abiding firearm owners.
“Red Flag” laws will not save lives, but they will lead to incredible infringements on your Second Amendment rights.
