Issue: Proposal to give organizations like Everytown bailout money under the guise of COVID-19 relief. 

Summary: Anti-gun members of Congress are proposing extending the Paycheck Protection Program (PPP) bailouts such that:

• The proposal would likely make many anti-gun political groups eligible for forgivable bailout loans under the guise of coronavirus aid
• It would likely cover Billionaire-funded anti-Second Amendment political groups that are classified as 501(c)(4) organizations such as Bloomberg’s Everytown for Gun Safety and Moms Demand Action, The Brady Campaign, Giffords, and many others
• The proposal would also likely end up funding many large K Street firms run by wealthy lobbyists
• While Main Street Americans and small businesses continue to suffer, the political establishment and those that lobby against your rights in the halls of congress would likely be getting taxpayer dollars

This is the very definition of pork-barrel spending. Rich lobbyists are trying to hoodwink the taxpayers into essentially "donating" to organizations - many of which are anti-gun - with THEIR OWN MONEY!

If signed into law, this proposal could give massive amounts of money to Bloomberg-funded groups and allow them to pursue even more gun control using YOUR MONEY.
