Last year it was alleged via a whistleblower that the Maine State Police were compiling a de facto gun registry, in violation of both state and federal law. Now, anti-gun politicians are working in the legislature to also attack your rights and property. Maine's Joint Standing Committee on Criminal Justice and Public Safety will consider the following bills:

LD 999 would criminalize private transfers, a measure that Mainers ALREADY voted down on the ballot in 2016.

LD 976 would make bump stocks illegal, an unnecessary restriction on private property.

LD 1454 would outlaw the tradition of home firearms building, to include 3D printing.
