AB 1931 would make a license to carry a concealed firearm valid for up to 5 years.
The process for obtaining and renewing a license to carry a concealed firearm is rigorous, time-consuming, and expensive. Therefore, it is ridiculous to limit the duration of validity to only 2 years.
This bill is a step in the right direction because it allows law-abiding citizens to protect themselves with less expense of time and money.
