HB 173 would expand unsafe Gun Free Zones to include public libraries. We know from experience that Gun Free Zones only serve to make society more unsafe. And expanding them to include public libraries will mean creating more soft targets for criminals and terrorists.
We cannot allow ignorant legislators to make the law-abiding more unsafe by depriving them of their Second Amendment rights in even more public places.
