FPC Granted Summary Judgment in Worth v. Harrington: Restores Right to Carry to Young Adults
FPC announced the granting of the Summary Judgment it had sought in its lawsuit challenging the Minnesota prohibition of young adults from carrying firearms for self defense. In the Opinion, the United States District Court for the District of Minnesota Judge Katherine Menedez ruled that Minnesota’s requirement that individuals be at least 21 years of age to be eligible for a carry permit violated Plaintiffs’ rights, and enjoined the state from further enforcement of the practice.
