Summary: Under current law, it is a crime to carry a firearm on a bus or in any facility used for a public transportation system. SB 39 would expand the rights of concealed carry permit owners by removing this prohibition to carry on public transport. SB 39 is a step in the right direction in allowing people to properly protect themselves in all situations.
