Anti-gun tyrants in the CA Legislature didn't waste any time cranking out unconstitutional legislation this year.
On their FIRST DAY back in session, Reps. Levine, Irwin, and Ting introduced a freedom-infringing trifecta of bills that would have devastating effects on 2A rights:
- AB 18 would impose a tax on all handguns, semi-automatic rifles, and semi-automatic shotguns - and the tax rate hasn't even been established yet!
- AB 61 would allow your coworkers, bosses, teachers, and other people you barely know to petition for the confiscation of your firearms.
- AB 12 is an anti-gun surprise, introduced just in time for Christmas! At this point, it only promises to "enact legislation relating to gun violence and mental health." But time will tell what AB 12 has in store...
Considering that these 3 anti-gun bills were introduced on DAY ONE, it's apparent that more will follow in the coming days and weeks.
That's why we need ALL HANDS ON DECK.
