HB 30 would allow family members or the legally ambiguous “dating partner” to petition the court to confiscate a person’s firearms. HB 30 will place Vermont gun owners in direct danger of violent law enforcement raids, gun confiscation, and restraining orders all based on accusations they would not be able to defend against. HB 30 is a clear violation of your Sixth Amendment rights in order to attack your Second.
