Bill/Issue: HR 1446 - Indefinite Firearm Transaction Delays

Summary: Would permit the FBI to - through inaction - indefinitely delay firearms transactions.

HR 1446 would allow the federal government to deny you the right to pick up your lawfully-purchased property. By increasing the amount of time from 3 to a MINIMUM of 10 business days an FFL must wait to receive a decision from the FBI regarding a completed background check, it gives the FBI the ability to delay your firearms transactions INDEFINITELY 

What's more, this legislation recently passed in the House of Representatives at RECORD SPEED. Meaning it could be up for a final vote in the Senate any day now. That's why we are urging you to take IMMEDIATE action to stop this very bad bill before it reaches Pres. Biden's desk.
