HB 3058 will require that all licensed dealers wait for confirmation from the national instant criminal background check as well as any other state required background checks before making a sale or transfer. This will leave all gun owners at the whim of the government as to when they can purchase a firearm. This could result in an anti-gun federal government ignoring South Carolina background checks and making new guns to South Carolina almost non-exsistant.
