Summary: SB 42 (aka ERPOs, Red Flag Law) allows people to petition courts to prohibit you from owning or possessing guns, ammunition, or magazines; also generally provides for warrants for the confiscation of guns, magazines, and ammunition. SB 42 would also notify your place of employment of an allegation if carrying a firearm is part of your employment. This would potentially place you at risk of losing your job.
