Bill/Issue: NY SB 2280 - Under 21 Firearm Ban

Summary: SB 2280 would ban any persons under the age of 21 from owning or possessing any type of firearm. This will leave any person under the age of 21 unable to protect themselves. Additionally, many high school and college shooting teams or gun clubs will be forced to shut down. This outright age discrimination against younger adults will create a barrier to safe firearm ownership.
