Summary: SB 1083 would create a system that is inherently biased towards blaming firearms for issues of violence. This bill would also use your hard earned money to create an executive committee tasked with conducting the research and “raising sensitivity to firearm violence”. SB 1083 is a waste of your money on “researching” why a tool used for violence is at fault instead of the person using the tool.
