Requires gun owners to surrender firearms when taken into custody by the police for the purpose of mental examination. This bill would allow the confiscation process to begin based on the unprofessional opinion of the arresting law enforcement. Firearms would then be kept for 30 days after hospitalization or clearance of issue by a professional doctor. This bill allows the opinion of police to have more power than the diagnosis of the doctor.
