Alert: Calif. DOJ Issues “Guns & Marijuana” Notice to Dealers
On December 29, 2016, the California Department of Justice – lead by embattled Attorney General Kamala Harris, soon to be a U.S. Senator – issued an “IMPORTANT NOTICE” on “Federal Law on Marijuana and Gun Ownership” to California gun dealers that states, as follows:

Then last Friday, the Department of Justice informed us that "Comments for the subject regulations are due by 5:00 PM on December 28, 2016." Importantly, in order for a public comment on this matter to be recognized, it must be submitted to both the Department of Justice and the Office of Administrative Law.
