SACRAMENTO (April 15, 2020) — Yesterday, Firearms Policy Coalition (FPC) attorney and Director of Legal Policy, Matthew Larosiere, served California Attorney General Xavier Becerra, the Department of Justice, and DOJ Bureau of Firearms Chief, Brent Orick, with a pre-litigation demand letter over an unlawful regulation delaying gun and ammunition transfers. SAN FRANCISCO (April 10, 2020) — Today, attorneys for Second Amendment Foundation (SAF), California Gun Rights Foundation (CGF), California Association of Federal Firearms Licensees (CAL-FFL), National Rifle Association of America (NRA), and Firearms Policy Coalition (FPC) filed an amended complaint and request for a temporary restraining order and preliminary injunction against Bay Area governments and officials that forced firearm retailers to close amid the COVID-19 pandemic.
