- Bill: SB 150 - Constitutional Carry for 21 Years and Older
- Position: Support w/ Amendment
- Author: Sen. Smith (R-30)
SB 150 would permit Kentuckians over the age of 21 years old to carry a firearm without the need to acquire a permit or any other requirement. While a clearly beneficial bill, in order for SB 150 to gain our full support we suggest the age requirement be dropped to 18 years old as they are also allowed to carry firearms.
UPDATE: BILL HAS PASSED BOTH HOUSES AND IS HEADING TO THE GOVERNOR'S DESK
