AB 688 would mandate that all firearms in vehicles be locked in a storage box that is affixed to the vehicle's frame or locked in the truck and affixed to the vehicles frame. This would make transportation of firearms near impossible and the cost of complying heavily burdensome to a person expressing their Second Amendment rights.
