URGENT: Stop Anti-Gun Bill From Skipping Process

AB 1511, authored by Miguel Santiago (D-Los Angeles), would ban loaning firearms to anybody besides immediate family, which is defined as a spouse, domestic partner, child, sibling, or grandparent.
It was rammed through the Senate in near secrecy only a couple of weeks ago.
Now, it is eligible to be passed through the Assembly in the same manner by disregarding the Legislative rules.
We can’t let that happen.
We need to make sure that the Assembly Speaker doesn’t do the same exact thing.
AB 1511 is essentially saying that sharing your personal property should be illegal.
It would be akin to him saying you can’t let a friend borrow your car or use your computer.
A totally ridiculous thought… but when it comes to guns, it suddenly makes sense to these politicians.
But, in reality, it doesn’t matter what the content of the bill is. The Legislature should not be making rules for us to live by… by blatantly disregarding their own rules on making rules.
Sign our petition to tell him to FOLLOW THE RULES!
Once you’ve signed, give Speaker Rendon a call at 916-319-2063 and politely ask him “to not suspend the rules and send AB 1511 to the Public Safety Committee.”
Make sure he hears your voice ASAP:
I, the undersigned, ask that Speaker Rendon not disregard the Legislative rules and send AB 1511 to the Public Safety Committee instead of allowing it to be heard on the Assembly Floor!
