URGENT: 5 Anti-Gun Bills To Be Voted On Before Friday
The California State Assembly has until the Friday deadline to pass 5 anti-gun bills.
If they don’t pass by the close of session Friday, they are DEAD for the year!
4 of the bills were passed by the Assembly Appropriation’s Committee last Friday. When they passed the committee, some of them were amended, but the Assembly HAS NOT made the amendments public yet so we can’t tell you exaclty what they do.
What we can tell you is they are as ANTI-GUN as ever. The bills that passed are as follows:
AB 1664, which will BAN all firearms with a bullet button;
AB 1673, which will CRIMINALIZE the possession of unserialized firearms parts;
AB 1674, which will BAN buying more than one firearm within a 30 day period;
and AB 1695, which will send gun owners HARASSING mailers regarding the myriad of laws they have already complied with.
Additionally, AB 2607 is still on the Assembly Floor. This bill expands the recently enacted Gun Violence Restraining Orders to allow your boos, coworker, therapist or professor to file to have your gun rights secretly stripped away.
