The CA Legislature has Left Town… But Gun Rights are Still at Risk

The 2015-2016 California Legislative Session is finally over and they can’t create any more new laws until January of 2017.
But before they left, they passed a slew of bills up to Governor Brown, which are now awaiting either his signature or veto.
That means the fight is not over. And honestly, until the anti-gunners are driven from power, the fight will never be over.
So we need you to get active RIGHT NOW and ensure Governor Brown does the right thing and vetoes the anti-gun bills that made it to his desk.
Those bills are:
- AB 450, by Assemblymember Kevin McCarty (D-Sacramento), which will allow local governments to raise the fees they charge on the issuance of concealed carry permits.
- AB 1373, by Assemblymember Miguel Santiago (D-Los Angeles), which bans firearm advertisement on certain billboards in Los Angeles.
- SB 1332, by Senator Tony Mendoza (D-Los Angeles), which creates hyper-nuanced legal situations if you want to loan your firearm or even leave it at home and you have a roommate or significant other.
This is the end of the line for these anti-gun bills.
We need to get ACTIVE and get LOUD to ensure the Governor vetoes them.
Call Governor Brown right now at 916-445-2841 and express your opposition.
And then sign our petition URGING the Governor to veto this anti-Second Amendment legislation.
I, the undersigned, OPPOSE all of the bills listed above and URGE Governor Brown to VETO them!
