WHAT: SENATE BILL 347

Anti-gun Senator Hannah-Beth Jackson’s Senate Bill 347 would add several new non-violent technical offenses to the list of misdemeanors for which there would be a 10-year prohibition on the possession or acquisition of firearms. It would also increase the number of people on the Armed Prohibited Persons System (APPS).

WHY: KILL THE BILL

SB 347 is currently on the Senate Appropriations Committee “suspense file.” If the bill does not pass the Committee before May 29, SB 347 will die on rules.

HOW: TAKE ACTION AT FPC

Use FPC’s TAKE ACTION TOOLS and tell the members of the Senate Appropriations Committee to vote “no” on SB 347!
