There you have it.
The Legislature is going to vote to send Gunpocalypse to Governor Brown tomorrow, June 30th.
Our reliable sources within the Capitol have just confirmed that minutes ago.
The Legislators are more concerned about heading off to their taxpayer-funded summer break than actually having a meaningful debate on the consequences of eviscerating the Second Amendment.
While you’re celebrating the nation’s independence with your family, at least twelve of the worst anti-gun bills we have seen will more than likely be on their way to Governor Brown.
To hell with the Legislature.
They’ve already decided to put their petty vacation plans ahead of your rights.
It is almost pointless to communicate to them about Gunpocalypse anymore.
That’s why we need you to ACT NOW and demand Gov. Brown veto these bills! If you’ve already signed, sign again! It doesn’t hurt one bit.
We’ll also automatically enter you into a giveaway for a SW M&P Shield 9mm when you sign the petition below!
The bills that could be on their way to the Governor are:
SB 880 (Hall): Bans common and constitutionally protected firearms that have magazine locking devices.
SB 894 (Jackson): Re-victimizes victims by criminalizing the failure to report lost and stolen firearms.
SB 1235 (de Leon): Now competes with Gavin Newsom’s Safety for All Act/Ammo Ban.
SB 1446 (Hancock): Confiscation of lawfully acquired, standard capacity ammunition feeding devices.
AB 156 (McCarty): Forced ammo registration.
AB 857 (Cooper): Forced “Ghost Gun” registration.
AB 1135 (Levine): Bans common and constitutionally protected firearms that have magazine locking devices.
AB 1511 (Santiago): Bans the loaning of firearms.
AB 1664 (Levine): Bans common and constitutionally protected firearms that have magazine locking devices.
AB 1673 (Gipson): Redefines “firearms” to include items that are not firearms.
AB 1674 (Santiago): Bans buying more than one firearm within a 30-day period.
AB 1695 (Bonta): Makes some non-violent misdemeanors punishable by prohibitions on owning firearms.
AB 2607 (Ting): Dramatically expands who can request a Gun Violence Restraining order.
Most, if not all, of the bills will be voted on tomorrow.
This Constitutional crisis could not be any more urgent.
Once these bills are passed, they will become law UNLESS Governor Brown hears from you and vetoes Gunpocalypse.
We need YOU to get active NOW and demand the Governor veto these bills ASAP!
I, the undersigned, URGE Governor Brown to veto any of the anti-gun bills listed above!
